Austin FC II stay home for a derby rematch against Houston Dynamo 2 for the second matchup between the teams this season. The Verde & Black will go up against Dynamo 2 Friday evening for a 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff. The match will be available to watch on Apple TV with MLS Season Pass.

Austin FC II will host its sixth home match and tenth overall match of its 2025 MLS NEXT Pro regular season.
The Verde & Black are unbeaten in their last three matches, winning once in regulation and twice in penalties. ATXFC II faced Minnesota United FC 2 at home last Friday in a rematch that went to penalties. An early goal by Peter Grogan set the tone for a competitive match as MNUFC2 fought for a goal until the 65th minute when Alisa Randall’s attempt found the net. The Verde & Black netted four of their penalty kicks while goalkeeper Charlie Farrar denied Minnesota two of its four attempts, effectively handing ATXFCII the second point.
Austin FC II last met up with Houston Dynamo 2 as guests. With this week’s opportunity to host, the Verde & Black look to redeem their loss against Dynamo 2 and secure another win at home to end the month with all wins.
Houston Dynamo 2 Outlook
Houston Dynamo 2 makes the trip out west to Texas’ capitol city for its fifth away match and 11th overall match of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season. Dynamo 2 have proven better at home with five of their six wins in SaberCats Stadium.
Dynamo 2 rank fourth in MLS NEXT Pro with Diego Gonzalez and Exon Arzu leading the team in goals, each with three under their belts, showing the teams strong performance thus far in the season.
