Austin FC II (5-0-3, 2nd in West) will play their second of three road matches in May on Sunday, May 14, when the team will travel west to face Colorado Rapids 2 (6-0-1, 1st in West) at 5 p.m. CT at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. The matchup features the last two unbeaten teams in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference, with both teams winning on the road in Matchday 7.

Colorado Rapids 2 are coming off a dominating 5-0 win at Galaxy II on Sunday. Rapids 2 enter the match with the most goals scored (19) in MLSNP and have outscored their opponents 9-2 in their last two matches combined.

On the attack for Rapids 2, Yosuke Hanya leads the league in goals scored (7) and has scored in each of his six appearances this season. Rapids 2’s 15 assists on the season are also a league-best, four of which have come from Oliver Larraz including three coming in his last two games. On the defensive end, Rapids 2 have kept three clean sheets of their own.

Sunday will be the first of three matchups between the two sides this season, with Rapids 2 hosting the Verde & Black once again on July 23.
