Austin FC II added Peter Davis as the team’s new goalkeeper coach, the club announced today. Davis joins Head Coach Brett Uttley’s staff ahead of the team’s final five matches of the 2025 regular season.
Davis most recently served as the goalkeeper coach for Oakland Roots SC for three seasons from 2022 to 2024. In 2023, he coached goalkeeper Paul Blanchette as Blanchette was named to the USL Championship All-League Second Team and won Oakland’s player of the year award.
Davis spent two seasons with New Mexico United prior to his time with Roots SC, holding roles as a first team goalkeeper coach and the director of academy goalkeeping.
He also has extensive experience coaching young goalkeepers from time at IdeaSport Soccer Academy in Orlando, the University of Central Florida men’s soccer team, the Soccer Institute at Montverde Academy, and the University of Florida women’s soccer team.
