Through Evergreen presented by YETI, we’re taking action all year long to protect what matters most: our planet, our people, and our future. Sustainability is a shared responsibility and a great opportunity to create lasting impact together.

Earth Day Beach Clean-Up

Austin FC Corporate Partners Pantalones Tequila and Visit South Padre Island teamed up for a Beach Clean-Up and Happy Hour on the coast. Volunteers gathered to care for the shoreline of South Padre Island collecting over 120-pounds of trash and debris. The day concluded with an event for all volunteers to celebrate and toast with Pantalones cocktails, enjoying food and local music.

Pease Park Clean-Up

Peace Park Cleanup

In honor of Earth Day, Austin FC and our partners came together on April 15 at Pease Park’s Kingsbury Commons for our annual Earth Day Clean-Up—an Evergreen initiative presented by YETI. This year’s gathering held special meaning, as Pease Park celebrates its sesquicentennial—150 years of providing Austin with vital green space.

As part of the Evergreen platform presented by YETI, volunteers from Austin FC, Kendra Scott, and SciPlay rolled up their sleeves alongside the Pease Park Conservancy’s Park Operations Team to care for the land. From removing invasive plant species to mulching young trees for the summer ahead, the morning was full of purpose, teamwork, and of course, VERDE.

“Earth Day is a great opportunity to celebrate service of our environment. Our Club is grateful for the community members and partners that joined us on Earth Day and throughout the year,” said Trennis Jones, Vice President of Community Impact.

The celebration continues on Earth Day itself—Tuesday, April 22—as Austin FC Corporate Partners Pantalones Tequila and Visit South Padre Island team up for a Beach Clean-Up and Happy Hour on the coast. Volunteers are gathering to care for the shoreline of South Padre Island and raise a glass to the planet.
