Austin FC II announced today that the Club has signed midfielder Kenan Hot to its MLS NEXT Pro roster. Hot joins on a two-year guaranteed deal through the end of the 2027 season with an option for 2028.
Hot is a 21-year-old central midfielder originally from Linfield, New Jersey. Hot played collegiate soccer at Duke University from 2022 to 2025 and led the team in goal contributions as a senior with eight (8) goals and four (4) assists. He was a First Team All-ACC selection and helped the Blue Devils reach the third round of the NCAA Tournament. Hot was then selected by Inter Miami CF in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft 2026.
Prior to his time at Duke, Hot spent time in the New York Red Bulls Academy and made professional appearances for New York Red Bulls II, New York City FC II, and Hartford Athletic. He made 10 appearances for the United States U-15 National Team, scoring a goal in a friendly against England.
