Austin FC II defeated Houston Dynamo 2 by a 3-0 scoreline on Friday night at Parmer Field at St. David’s Performance Center. The result gives Austin their eighth home victory, most in MLS NEXT Pro.

ATXFC II finished the first half with four (4) shots on target and broke through in the 44th minute for the 1-0 lead. Chris Pinkham played in a cross that went untouched to CJ Fodrey for a diving header past Dynamo 2 goalkeeper Andrew Pannenberg.

Austin doubled their lead in the 56th minute as Fodrey fired in a powerful cross that found Sébastien Pineau place it past the keeper to score his third (3) goal in the last four (4) matches. In the 79th minute, Christo Vela fired his free-kick over three (3) Houston defenders to the top left corner for Austin’s third goal of the night.

Goalkeeper Damian Las increased his league-leading clean sheet tally to nine (9) and his sixth (6) in the last seven (7) contests.
