Micah Burton

Burton signed an MLS contract with Austin FC in January 2024, making him the second player from the Club's Academy to sign as a Homegrown with the first team. He spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons with Austin FC II, winning the MLS NEXT Pro title with the team in 2023 and totaling eight (8) goals and an assist in 51 appearances (39 starts).

On April 16, 2023, Burton became the youngest-ever professional goalscorer in the Austin FC organization when he registered his first professional goal against St. Louis CITY2.

Burton represented the United States U-17 Men’s National Team at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Indonesia, playing in all four (4) of the team’s matches. In total, Burton has scored five (5) goals in 21 appearances for the Stars & Stripes at the U-17 international level.
