Austin FC II is coming off its fourth consecutive win this past Sunday over St. Louis City 2. The Verde & Black tallied four goals with Austin FC Academy product Erick Feliciano kicking it off in the 6th minute for his second goal of the season. Jorge Alastuey netted his sixth goal of the season, furthering his lead as the team’s top-scorer, and Kenan Hot also produced his second goal of the season after City 2 found the net in the second half. Stefan Dobrijevic topped it all off for the fourth goal of the night and his first career goal with Austin. The result also made it a team-record nine matches unbeaten.
Last time out against Sporting Kansas City II, the Verde & Black swept with two wins and one draw where Austin FC II took the extra point. The teams last played in August of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season, with Alastuey notching two goals and Vlad Dănciuțiu scoring one in ATXFC II’s 3-1 win. Austin will look to extend its win streak and finish May undefeated this Friday.
Sporting Kansas City II Outlook
Sporting Kansas City II is coming off its eighth loss of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season against North Texas SC. Kashan Hines found the equalizer, for his third goal of the season, 10 minutes after NTSC opened scoring. SKC II produced 20 shots but was unable to further their fight as NTSC tallied another four goals and they fell 5-1.
Sporting KC II scored first against Austin FC II in last season’s final meet up with a goal by Medgy Alexander but couldn’t stop ATXFC II from putting three past them. This Friday SKC II will look to establish a strong fight on its home field and find its third win of the season against Austin FC II.
