Austin FC II is coming off a win against North Texas SC on the road. The Verde & Black secured all three points over their in-state rivals with two goals. Jorge Alastuey put ATXFC II on the board in the first 10 minutes with a ball from Micah Burton, who later extended the lead in first-half stoppage time. Austin performed a balancing act, keeping the pressure on both sides of the ball to prevent NTSC from getting on the board by the final whistle.
Last time out against Tacoma Defiance, Austin FC II’s Kenan Hot scored his first goal of the season as the only goal of the night and goalkeeper Charlie Farrar made five saves to keep a clean sheet. ATXFC II will look to ride its winning momentum and replicate another win over the Defiance, this time at home.

Tacoma Defiance is coming off a draw against Sporting KC II where Tacoma collected two points. The Defiance took the lead with two goals in the first half though it was slashed in the 63rd minute with an equalizer by SKC II. Forward Yu Tsukanome sits as Tacoma’s top-scorer with four goals though he only scored in penalties against SKC II, where four out of Tacoma’s five attempts landed them the extra point.
Tacoma Defiance fared well against Austin FC II last time with each team getting off five shots on goal. Still, Tacoma fell, unable to find the net and conceding and 88th minute winner to Austin. Defiance will look to produce astrong fight against the Verde & Black as they travel down south this Sunday.
