Austin FC II hit the road to face St. Louis City 2 for the second time this season in a 6:00 p.m. CT kickoff at Energizer Park. The match will be available to watch on OneFootball and MLSNEXTPro.com.

Austin FC II Outlook

Austin FC II is coming off its eighth consecutive win, beating Sporting KC II 2-1 last Sunday night. The victory came courtesy of two goals by Diego Abarca to extend the team-record unbeaten streak to 13 matches. Artem Dashkovets saw his first minutes in Verde & Black, and Austin’s home crowd welcomed back Patrick Gryczewski from an injury that had kept him out since the first match of the 2025 season. The win moved ATXFC II into first place overall in the MLS NEXT Pro standings with a two-point gap to No. 2 Columbus Crew 2.

Austin now shifts its focus to St. Louis City 2 for its final match in June. Last time out, the Verde & Black beat St. Louis City 4-1, with Stefan Dobrijevic scored his first career goal for Austin.

Austin FC II will look to continue its strong run of form and maintain its place atop the league standings as it faces a tough road test against St. Louis City 2.

St. Louis City 2 Outlook

St. Louis City 2 is coming off a loss against Minnesota United FC 2. St. Louis managed more goal attempts overall with determination to extend its three-match unbeaten streak but fell short. CITY2 equalized twice but was unable to pull ahead as Minnesota scored three unanswered goals to ultimately take all three points.

Despite the defeat, St. Louis has been difficult to beat at home this season and enters the match with four wins at home, two draws in which CITY2 took both extra points and only one loss by Houston Dynamo 2. SLC 2 will aim to use that home-field success to bounce back against Austin FC II.
