Austin FC II return home on Sunday to face Sporting KC II for the second time this season in a 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff at Parmer Field. The match will be available to watch on OneFootball and MLSNEXTPro.com.
Austin FC II Outlook
Austin FC II is still riding its wave of wins, now coming off its seventh consecutive victory, beating MNUFC 2 by a score of 3-1 last weekend. The result extended the team-record unbeaten streak to 12 matches, as the Verde & Black avenged their only loss of the season against MNUFC 2 at the home opener to situate them in second place of the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference standings.
Austin now shifts its focus to Sporting KC II as the teams face off for the second time this season. Last time, Austin secured its sixth shutout win of the season with three goals by three different players, with Marcel Ruszel securing his first career goal.
The Verde & Black will look to extend their unbeaten streak against SKC II this weekend and continue their climb up the table.
