Austin FC II returns to Parmer Field for its final home match of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro regular season as it continues its hunt to secure the No. 1 seed for the MLS NEXT Pro playoffs. The match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, September 13, and will be available to watch on OneFootball and MLSNEXTPro.com.
Austin FC II Outlook
Austin FC II is coming off a 2-0 win over Houston Dynamo 2 last Friday, its 12th shutout win of the season. Academy product Erick Feliciano proved impactful to the Verde & Black, scoring his fourth goal of the season in the second minute of the match. With the tone set early, goalkeeper Charlie Farrar then saved a penalty attempt by Dynamo 2 and ATXFC II’s backline kept other attempts from landing. Patrick Gryczewski scored his first goal for Austin in the 75th minute to secure all three points.
Now turning to face Colorado Rapids 2, the Verde & Black have a clear goal. By picking up one point or more, Austin would clinch the No. 1 overall seed in the MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs. The odds lay in ATXFC II’s favor as the team took all six possible points from their last two match ups against Colorado, but the Verde & Black will know they’ll need to be at their best to earn a third win this season over Rapids 2 in front of its home crowd for the last time in the regular season.
Colorado Rapids 2 Outlook
Colorado Rapids 2 stays on the road as it comes off a 2-0 loss to Minnesota United FC 2. Colorado showed strong defensive efforts with goalkeeper Keane Perkins tallying seven saves, though it wasn’t enough with back-to-back goals by Minnesota in the 72nd and 78th minute securing the home team all three points.
Already eliminated from the MLS NEXT Pro playoffs, Colorado Rapids 2 still look to end its season on a high note with hopes to best ATXFC II as the season series comes to an end.
