The Verde & Black were also victorious over Colorado in last year’s MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference Final, during the team’s run of four consecutive away wins to clinch the league title.

Colorado Rapids 2 Outlook

Rapids 2 currently sit bottom of the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference with a 2-1-8 record through 11 matches. The team has earned one road win so far this season, a 2-1 victory over St. Louis City 2 on March 17.

Marlon Vargas’ five goals are the most of any player on the team, and Vargas is the only player with multiple goals to his name. Daouda Amadou and Wayne Frederick have also been solid performers.
