Austin FC II announced today that the club signed defender Evan Watt to its MLS NEXT Pro roster. Watt joins on a two-year guaranteed deal through the end of the 2027 season with an option for 2028.
Watt is a 22-year-old defender originally from York, Pennsylvania. He played two (2) seasons at La Salle University and two (2) at Old Dominion University, totalling five (5) goals and four (4) assists in 56 collegiate appearances. He then joined English side Weymouth FC, where he made nine (9) appearances and scored one (1) goal.
