Austin FC II announced today that the club loaned defender Antonio Gomez to USL Championship side Sporting Club Jacksonville for the duration of the 2026 season.
Gomez, 24, spent the last two (2) seasons with Austin FC II. He made 49 MLS NEXT Pro appearances, 46 of which were starts, helping the team concede the joint-fewest goals in the MLSNP Western Conference in 2025. The Las Vegas, Nevada native played collegiate soccer at California Baptist University from 2020 to 2023, making 71 appearances for the Lancers.
