Austin FC II earned its first win of the season on Sunday night, defeating rivals North Texas SC at Parmer Field.
Austin FC Academy player Aiden Hale made his MLS NEXT Pro debut under the Parmer lights. ATXFC II fought hard in the first half, and were rewarded when Djaka Barro found the net with a terrific strike from far outside the box to put the Verde & Black on top at the half.
Austin FC II continued the fight in the second half, shutting out NTSC from putting anything on the board to take all three points.
