Austin FC II announced today several additions to its MLS NEXT Pro roster ahead of the team’s 2024 home opener on Friday, March 15. Two (2) Austin FC first team players have signed loan agreements with ATXFC II making them eligible to compete in both MLS and MLS NEXT Pro matches, and six (6) Austin FC Academy players have joined ATXFC II on amateur agreements.
Midfielder Micah Burton and winger CJ Fodrey have signed loan agreements with Austin FC II. Each player remains eligible to compete in MLS matches at any time at the discretion of the Austin FC technical staff.
Defender Drake Fournier, defender Mason Miller, forward Joah Reyna, goalkeeper Spencer Sanderson, winger Luke Spadafora, and defender Gavin Wolff all signed amateur agreements to join ATXFC II. All six (6) players have previously competed for the Austin FC U-17 team. The agreements allow each player to train and compete for Austin FC II, while maintaining collegiate and academy eligibility.
The structure of Austin’s MLS NEXT Pro team is designed to allow for players at all levels of the organization to get the playing and training experience that is right for them at any given moment of their development throughout their season. The eight (8) additions join a roster of 17 players signed directly to professional MLS NEXT Pro contracts with Austin FC II.

- Goalkeepers (3): Marcus Alstrup, Aaron Cervantes, Spencer Sanderson
- Defenders (8): Anthony De Anda, Rubén Bonachera, Drake Fournier, Antonio Gomez, Salvatore Mazzaferro, Mason Miller, Cheick Touré, Gavin Wolff
- Midfielders/Wingers (11): Bryan Arellano, Micah Burton, Bobosi Byaruhanga, Jimmy Farkarlun, CJ Fodrey, Anthony Garcia, Christopher Garcia, Steeve Louis Jean, Luke Spadafora, Alonso Ramírez, Ervin Torres
- Forwards (3): Sebastién Pineau, Joah Reyna, Jonathan Santillan
Austin FC II Schedule and Tickets
Austin FC II will kick off its defense of the MLS NEXT Pro title on Friday, March 15 with an 8:00 p.m. CT home match against Tacoma Defiance at Parmer Field at St. David’s Performance Center. Tickets for that match, and for all of the team’s 2024 home matches, are on sale now.
