Austin FC II announced today the full 28-match schedule for its 2026 MLS NEXT Pro regular season presented by woom Bikes. Austin FC II will begin its fourth season of competition with a home match against Minnesota United FC 2 on Sunday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. CT at Parmer Field at St. David’s Performance Center. The Austin FC first team plays D.C. United in its second match of the MLS regular season at Q2 Stadium on the same day at 1:30 p.m. CT.
2026 Matches
Austin FC II’s fourth MLS NEXT Pro campaign will consist of 14 home and 14 away matches. The team will close their 2026 regular season with an away match against St. Louis City 2 on Sunday, September 20.
Austin FC and Austin FC II will play against first and second teams from the same opposing club on the same weekend on two (2) occasions throughout the season: Houston Dynamo FC/Houston Dynamo 2 away (July 25-26), and Portland Timbers/Timbers2 away (August 29-30).

New in 2026
2026 will be the team’s first season under new Head Coach Jason Shackell, who has been with Austin FC since 2021 as a member of the Club’s academy staff. Shackell’s Austin FC II coaching staff also comprises assistant coach Omar Jarun and goalkeeper coach Peter Davis, both of whom joined in September 2025 ahead of the team’s final matches of the 2025 season.
PopStroke, an elevated mini golf and entertainment venue, officially began managing operations at The Pitch in September 2025 upon the completion of renovations. The Pitch is immediately adjacent to Parmer Field at St. David’s Performance Center. In addition to two 18-hole mini golf courses and the pre-existing pickleball courts, the newly refreshed venue now features BarTenders Eatery, upgraded event spaces with an esports gaming area, a full-service ice cream parlor, and expanded recreational amenities including two all-new sand volleyball courts.

Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, January 23.
