Austin FC II extended its now team-record unbeaten streak to nine matches with a dominant 4-1 victory over St. Louis City 2 on Sunday night at Parmer Field. It was also the group's fourth consecutive win.
ATXFC II lit up the scoreboard early. Austin FC Academy product Erick Feliciano got things going in the sixth minute with a terrific goal from outside the box, scoring for the second game in a row. Captain Jorge Alastuey then doubled the lead in the 19th minute with a free kick, his team-best sixth goal of the season.
St. Louis City 2 tucked one away early in the second half but was unable to level the game as Kenan Hot swooped in to reestablish Austin's multi-goal cushion. Stefan Dobrijevic followed suit with a sharp shot inside the box for his first career goal in Verde & Black to round off an excellent team performance.
