Austin FC II clinched the No. 1 overall seed in the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs with a shutout home win over Colorado Rapids 2 on Sunday night.
The Verde & Black’s best chances of the first half came from a shot by Stefan Dobrijevic off the crossbar and a run by Ibrahima Sall that saw him caught offside in the box.
Austin worked to maintain its momentum all night and finally got rewarded when Patrick Gryczewski scored a late winner from outside the box in stoppage time, his second of the season. ATXFC II now has one game remaining in the regular season before it will learn its first playoff opponent.
