Austin FC Academy products Mo Badawiya and Erick Feliciano each registered a goal and an assist to spur Austin FC II to a 2-0 away win over Colorado Rapids 2 on Wednesday night. The result extends ATXFC II's unbeaten run to eight matches, tying a team record, and was Austin's third consecutive shutout win.

Defender Dren Dobruna made his first career start for Austin FC II in a productive first half against Colorado Rapids 2. The Verde & Black fought to keep pressure on the defense tallying seven attempts. Despite aggression all around, neither team was able to take the lead before the break.

Multiple substitutions coming back from the half proved to be just what the Verde & Black needed as Badawiya connected with Feliciano for Feliciano’s first career professional goal just two minutes after the pair entered the pitch.

The roles reversed for the Austin FC Academy duo 12 minutes later as Badawiya extended ATXFC II’s lead with a terrific strike after receiving the ball from Feliciano to seal the victory and move Austin into third place in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference standings.
