AUSTIN, TEXAS—Austin FC, Austin’s Major League Soccer (MLS) club, successfully secured the largest number of membership deposits ever placed in a single day in the history of MLS on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.
“This evening we celebrate the thousands upon thousands of Austin supporters who stepped forward with season ticket membership deposits for Austin FC’s inaugural season in 2021,” Andy Loughnane, president of Austin FC, said. “Today’s record-setting deposit results reinforce the strength of the market, the community’s love for the sport, and the pent-up demand for major league sports in Austin. We are incredibly grateful for those who placed deposits on this historic day.”
Any individual, family, network of friends, or business entity interested can still secure Austin FC Season Ticket Memberships with a fully refundable $50 or $100 (per account) deposit to secure a place in line to select seat locations for the 2021 MLS season.
Deposits can still be placed online with a valid credit card at www.austinfc.com, over the phone at 512-572-8932, and in-person at Austin FC’s office at 1835-A Kramer Lane, Suite 600 during business hours or at various off-site locations throughout Austin (dates/times will be announced via Club social). Cash deposits will be accepted in-person.
A fully refundable Season Ticket Membership deposit will establish a position in line to select seats for each account of record.
To commemorate Austin FC as the 27th club in MLS, those who place a deposit by August 27 will be automatically entered into a lottery that will grant 27 winners the first opportunity to select seat locations.
“With the overwhelming demand today for Season Ticket Membership Deposits, we encourage people to sign up sooner rather than later,” Loughnane said. “Those who are unable to purchase season tickets for the inaugural season as a result of their position in line will be placed on a priority waitlist for future seasons and will enjoy exclusive individual-match benefits that come with placing a membership deposit.”
Austin FC Season Ticket Memberships will include access to all home regular season matches, as well as exclusive member-only events and additional privileges that will be released prior to the seat selection phase.
General seating and supporter section membership deposits are $50 per account, regardless of how many seats are reserved (up to a maximum of 8 per account). Premium seating membership deposits are $100 per account, regardless of how many Premium seats are reserved (up to a maximum of 8 per account).
General seating options include designated locations in the lower level, upper level and north end. The Supporter section located in the south end of the stadium is a standing-only general admission section. Premium seating includes access to club areas and amenities such as all-inclusive food and beverage options as well as VIP parking.
Beyond season ticket memberships, Austin FC will also issue individual match tickets for each regular season match, including the distribution of an average of 1,000 complimentary seats per regular season match while also selling an average of 200 seats per regular season match in 2021 for $20 each.
